"Right now my home is under occupation; we left under explosions and shelling. So we had to live abroad with the children for a long time. It was hard psychologically, especially for the children. When we decided we couldn't put our lives on hold anymore — we returned to Ukraine and started over. The children had been learning online for too long and found it very hard to connect with their peers. So when we were invited to Ptakha Camp — we agreed without hesitation," says Oleksandra.

"It's an incredible place that opened up my children; they found friends, like-minded people, interesting workshops for the older ones that helped them understand their needs and eased communication and psychological load; for the younger one there were art therapy sessions that she loved; the space they created for the little ones is very varied: trampolines, mazes, everything they love. But most of all — it's safety. Here you can go to sleep and wake up to the birds, not to air raids. I'm sure this place will stay in my heart forever," adds mother Oleksandra.
